Luis Martínez Juárez is a physician, researcher, and global health expert dedicated to advancing health equity through evidence-based interventions and digital innovation. He specializes in designing strategies to tackle chronic diseases and improve health outcomes in underserved communities.

He currently serves as Lecturer in Global Health at the University of Manchester and he is the Director of the Technical Section on Digital Health and Artificial Intelligence for Health at the Mexican Society of Public Health. He is affiliated with the Center for Humanitarian Health at Johns Hopkins University, and the Center for Global Health Equity at the University of Michigan.

An experienced educator and author, Luis has published influential books such as The Role of Compassion in Medicine, Global Health and Humanitarian Health, and En búsca de la iluminación. His teaching and publications emphasize ethical considerations, compassionate healthcare, and responsible use of digital technologies in medical practice.
